Formerly referred to as Palinpinon II Optimization Project

20 MW geothermal power plant to be located in the municipality of Valencia, Province of Negros Oriental. The project involves the development of 20 MW geothermal field including the drilling of one production well, construction of the corresponding fluid collection and reinjection system (FCRS), a 20 MW geothermal power plant with gas abatement facility and a switching station at the Nasuji Area to interconnect with Transco’s 138 kV transmission lines.

The project is to be developed by the Philippine National Oil Company-Energy Development

Corporation (PNOC-EDC) and the project lifetime is expected to be 20 years.
